Amarvati, 21 September (IANS) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the launch of the ‘visionary’ of the next generation GST reforms and the ‘GST Bachhat Udav’, saying that the festival truly puts the citizen to the center of governance.
He said, “On behalf of my people of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu expanded ‘Hardik Gratitude’ to the Prime Minister for this ‘adventure and visionary improvement’.
Naidu posted on X after the nation’s address before the GST 2.0’s rollout, “With the festive season, the next General GST is really a double celebration for the people, which will benefit low prices, simplified taxes and a strong, more inclusive economy directly.”
“The number of tax slabs has reduced only by two: 5 percent and 18 percent. About 99 percent of essential commodities now fall under less 5 percent slab. This improvement will make daily life more cheap for our citizens, especially middle class, poor, farmers, women and youth,” will help reduce the major tax system.
Chandrababu Naidu, whose Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is a prominent partner in the BJP -led NDA government at the center, urged everyone to proud indigenous/local products and proud to make a step towards self -reliance and national pride every day.
“As a guide mantra with PM’s ‘Nagrik Devo Bhawa’, this adventure reform is a gift for both the present and future of every Indian. Honorable PM’s call, ‘Garv Se Kaho Kaho, Yeh Hai Hai’, is a fresh as a fresh national movement, which motivates every house to embrace and proud of Indian-Made products,” he said.
Naidu said, “His call to the states to become equal partners in development and promote local manufacturing is a powerful message of cooperative federalism. I fully support these calls and remain devoted to Swarna Andhra, which has been aligned with the spirit of self -sufficient and vicious India,” said Naadu.
