Trump’s ‘worst mayor’ is more important to worry about Khan after digging.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan declared himself “indifferent” to Donald Trump, stating that he has “more important things to worry” after the US President’s claim that he requested the boycott of Sir Sadiq from the incidents of state travel.

This latest exchange enhances an ongoing quarrel, which earlier this week saw Mr. Trump “the world’s worst mayors” label.

The US President alleged that Sir Sadiq had expressed his desire to attend the state’s visit, but Mr. Trump said he “asked that he was not there.”

To respond to Mr. Trump’s claim, the Mayor of London told the PA news agency on Sunday: “I really did not think much of it.

“I am indifferent to President Trump.

“I really have more important things to worry about (is).”

There has been a war of long-running words between Mr. Trump and Labor Mayor, who accused the American leader of encouraging divisive distance politics worldwide as he landed in Britain on Tuesday.

Talking to reporters on the Air Force one on Thursday after his state visit, Mr. Trump said: “I did not want him there, I asked that he was not there.

“I think London Mayor Khan is one of the worst mayors in the world, and we have something bad. If you look at Chicago, but I think he is equal to the mayor of Chicago.

“I think he has done a terrible job. The crime in London is through the roof. Mayor Khan of London Khan has done a terrible job.

“And on immigration, he is a disaster.

“I asked if he was not there. He wanted to stay there, as I understand, I did not want him.”

Sir Sadiq is understood that he made it clear weeks ago that he did not invite the events organized for the controversial state trip.
