Injustice, corruption, drug addiction on Vijayadashami: CM Yogi Adityanath

Lucknow, 21 September (IANS) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Sunday that the youth should burn effigies of injustice, corruption, atrocities and drug addiction on the occasion of Vijayadashami.

Addressing the people on the occasion of the young man for drug-free India, he raised slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ to encourage the youth.

The mega initiative was held simultaneously at 75 places, part of the Seva Pakhwada campaign launched by the BJP to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday.

The ‘Namo Yuva Run’ Began from Kalidas Marg and Ended at 1090 Chauraha (Interase).

Stating that youth power is an energy power plant, he said that if the youth of the country follow the right path, the nation will benefit.

Special events starting on 17 September will continue till 2 October.

Exposing the importance of discipline and calm, he said that a disciplined youth is the greatest power of the nation.

Sharing that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has gifted the GST reforms of the countrymen as a Diwali gift, he said that this step will reduce the cost of milk, curd, cheese, clear butter, houses, cars and will also put heavily on the substances that make habit.

The GST Council announced the reforms on 3 September, which will be applicable from Monday.

The Chief Minister hoped that GST improvement would reduce inflation, increase people’s purchasing capacity, generate employment and strengthen the market.

The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), which announced the campaign on September 7, said that a large scale was focused on spreading awareness about run fitness, health and social responsibility.

Prime Minister Modi Began The Sewa Pakhwada from Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar with the launch of ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Samaj’.

He said that if women are healthy, then society and nation will be healthy.

On this occasion, BJYM organized blood donation camps, health camps and Swach Bharat Abhiyan among others.
