People will benefit across India: PM Modi ‘prosperity from Samudra’ before the incident

Bhawanagar, September 20 (IANS) before participating in the ‘Samriddhi Samriddhi’ program in Bhavnagar, Gujarat on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the development projects which will be inaugurated during the incident will benefit people across the nation, calling it an important day for the sea field.

The Prime Minister will start a series of transformational development projects in several areas during a high-profile event held at Jawahar Maidan in Bhavnagar.

He will participate in the ‘Samudra to Samriddhi’ program, and he will be inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for several development projects worth more than Rs 34,200 crore.

In a post on X, PM Modi posted, “Today, September 20, is an important day for our discovery towards the maritime region and self -reliance. Around 10:30 pm, will participate in the ‘Samriddhi of Samridhi’ program in Bhawanagar.”

He said, “Work worth more than Rs 34,200 crore will be inaugurated or their foundation will be stones. They will benefit people across India. The major policies related to the shipping sector will also focus our attention,” he said.

A major focus of the event is the maritime area, inaugurating PM Modi and inauguration of projects worth more than Rs 7,870 crore. These initiatives are important infrastructure upgrade in major Indian ports.

The highlights inaugurate the Mumbai International Cruise Terminal at Indira Dock and the Foundation Stone for a new container terminal at Sima Prasad Mukarji Port in Kolkata.

Additional marine development includes Pardip Port (Odisha), Tuna Tekra Multi-Kargo Terminal in Gujarat, and modernization projects include a new cargo berth and container handling facilities, and Kamarajar Port (Annor, Tamil Nadu), Chennai Port, Car Nicobar Island, Desandel Port (Kandala) modernization projects, and water in water

The Prime Minister alone will unveil adequate portfolio of projects worth Rs 26,354 crore in Gujarat, which will focus on areas such as renewable energy, port infrastructure, roadways, healthcare and urban transport.

Major Gujarat-based initiatives will be inaugurated, including HPLNG Regency Terminal at Chara port, acrylic and oxo alcohol project at Gujarat IOCL Refinery, 600 MW Green Shoe Initiative and 475 MW PM-Kusum Solar feeders for farmers.

The Badli 45 MW solar PV project and complete solarization of Dhordo village will also be inaugurated.

In areas of healthcare and urban infrastructure, Sir T. of Bhavanagar. Foundation stones will be laid for expansion at General Hospital and Guru Govind Singh Government Hospital of Jamnagar.

PM Modi will also launch four-lanning of 70 km of national highways, improving connectivity and trade routes in the state.

Several mouss will be signed between government bodies and private players, strengthening public-private participation and accelerate regional development.

The Prime Minister will also conduct an aerial survey of the Dholara Special Investment Area, envisaged as a Greenfield Industrial City, which is built around permanent industrialization, smart infrastructure and global investment.
