Sambhal: The Samajwadi Party Lok Sabha member from the handle of Uttar Pradesh, Zia ur Rehman Barak, on Thursday supported Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal to use the goods of ‘Swadeshi’ and said that he had exported country-made products worldwide.
However, he said that due to declining exports in front of the tariffs imposed by the US, many firms in Sambhal are on the verge of closure.
Questioning the policy of the country, he said, it should be better to export indigenous (local goods) worldwide.
In Moradabad and Care, companies that provide employment to 200 to 2,000 people are leaving behind their workforce, and many are on the verge of closure, the SP leader said.
On the call of PM Modi to celebrate Hyderabad Liberation Day on 17 September, the SP MP said, “We respect the Indian Army, proud of it and believe that it is strong and ready to deal with any situation.”
In particular, PM Modi on Wednesday appealed to the countrymen to adopt indigenous products and strengthen the country’s self -reliance.
He emphasized that the route of a developed India lies in empowering local industries and embracing indigenous goods.
PM Modi also urged people to proud of products made in India and support local artisans, manufacturers and entrepreneurs.
In a symbolic gesture, the Prime Minister advised the states to ensure that each shop should display a board to read ‘Garv to Kaho is indigenous’ (say with pride, it is indigenous).
PM Modi’s speech in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh was part of a comprehensive campaign to promote self -reliant India, or self -sufficient India.
Connecting the indigenous movement to the economic future of the country, PM Modi said that embracing indigenous goods will not only promote local employment, but will also reduce dependence on foreign products.
He said that with the upcoming decrease in GST rates, time is mature for every Indian to make a conscious option in favor of Swadeshi.
