Visakhapatnam, 17 September (IANS) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday invited the global capacity center (GCC) to establish its operations in the state.
Addressing the Valdictory session of the GCC Business Summit organized by the Union of the Indian Industry here, he said that Andhra Pradesh provides the best eco-system with the industry friendly policies.
Visakhapatnam said as the right place for industrial development, he assured all support to the industries coming forward to establish their operations in the coastal city.
Saying that the future is for GCC, the Chief Minister told the investors that the Andhra Pradesh government is ready to expand cooperation for industrial development with real -time decisions.
He said that a recent survey has revealed that Visakhapatnam is the safest city for women. While urging each GCC to do an MoU with the state government, he commented that he would not regret his decision.
He said that Andhra Pradesh has an advantage of 1,000 km long coastline and the state is planning a port -led economy.
He believed that Google would announce his data center in Visakhapatnam next month.
The Chief Minister told the leaders of the industry that there is good air, road and rail connectivity in the state. The state is developing one of the best infrastructure. Apart from existing airports in Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Rajmundri, Tirupati and Kadapa, a Greenfield Airport will be developed at Amravati. A bullet train is also proposed through Andhra Pradesh connecting Hyderabad and Chennai.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is focusing on developing a quantum valley with artificial intelligence and a data lake. At the same time, the focus is on developing green energy and hydrogen.
He revealed that currently 720 government services are being provided through WhatsApp governance. In addition, Rata Tata Innovation Hubs were installed in five centers of the state. He said that the best eco-system is prevalent in the state for the establishment of industries with the best combination of policy makers, industry and academics.
Chandrababu Naidu said that India would soon emerge as the third largest economy in the world, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and with the best reforms brought by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitarman.
