Tory Peer: ‘I have taken a miracle but cannot shed any other weight – this is not a miracle medicine’

Web Desk, 31/08/2025

While shadow justice secretary Robert generic Has become British political poster boy for weight lossOne of his former colleagues is less affected.

Tory Peer Lord Ed Vaizi Her bid is disappointed to trim her weight Take over To try to land in small numbers on your scales.

Pre-Culture Minister told Independent Despite this, hundreds of thousands of people take weight loss jabs, it was definitely not in their experience. A miracle medicine ” , But admitted that he could take other measures to help him shed pounds.

“My suspicion is that, I am a specific person in the sense that I think ‘I inject this medicine, I inject it, it should be done’. But I suspect that if I stop drinking alcohol and have a proper wise diet, it probably helps me to lose weight as if I was just doing as a diet.” He said.

After intervention, NHS began rolling out weight loss jab to deal with the obesity crisis in the UK.

Lord Vaizi, who has been lost around a stone overall, says that his healthy weight is about 13 stones and admitted that when he first decided to take action, he was “about two stones more weight”.

After reducing the extra weight during Covid, which he says that the Westminster Lunch was no longer the result of winning and eating, he returned it after the lockdown ended. His desire to finally go back to size inspired him for weight loss jabs.

He said: “I first went to Vagovi and then Munjaro. Wagovi definitely tricked.”

But his experience with Maunjaro was not successful that he started after a break of about nine months “when my weight started to crawl again”.

“This helped bring it down, but I am now stuck on the 14th 10LB, which I consider to be overweight.

“It certainly reduces your appetite slightly; I definitely feel full in such a way that I didn’t do before. But I am stuck on the 14th 10LB – it’s not going to take me any less.

“It doesn’t seem right and I was at maximum dose at one point. I still use it, partly because I think if I stop using it, my weight will crawl again.”

When he eats less, he says that Jab has not kept him with his love for the dessert or “sinking a bottle of alcohol”.

“I have zero side effects, and as I think it keeps me in a stable weight, I am happy to use it, but it’s certain that I have to be a little more disciplined, I think, if I really want to lose weight now.

“I am very happy to go out for dinner and immerse a bottle of alcohol. I am very happy for a dessert at dinner. It’s not to like my brain fatty foods or nothing.”

However, friends have told Lord Vazi that he is looking more trim.

“People definitely comment. I had dinner with a friend last night, which I did not see for a while, and he commented,” You look as if you have lost weight. You look really healthy. ” People keep telling me, I look very healthy.

“But I read stories that read about those who took Vagovi and shed four stones, but it did not happen to me.”
