One Immediate warning Drivers have been released before the start of New number platesAs strict rules can be found by motorists £ 1,000 fine,
Beyond the rollout of the new ’75’-plated cars On 1 September, DVLA has urged drivers to ensure their own license plates that they follow the specifications to be the road legal.
DVLA said, “The number plate (also known as a license plate) will have to show its registration number correctly.”
“You cannot rearrange letters or numbers, or change them so that they are difficult to read.

“You can be fined up to £ 1,000 and if you drive with the wrongly displayed number plates, your vehicle will fail to its MOT test.”
DVLA says that your number plate should be made from a contemplative material, and the most black characters should be displayed on a white background at the front, with black characters on a yellow background at the back.
There should be no background pattern, and the plate should be marked to supply the plate.
The characters on the number plate should not be removable or reflective, and any plate fitted after 1 September 2021 should have black shade.
Number plates should also be marked with a British standard number, which is BS AU 145E, for plates that fit after 1 September 2021.
Dvla allows you (3D) characters, some flags and symbols and number plates with a green flash if you have a zero-furnace vehicle.
The new vehicles will be registered with 75 number plates by February next year, when they will be registered with ’26 before registering with ’76’ from September 2026.
