Khelo India Water Sports Festival: Mohsin Ali, Sajad and Muhammad Hussain Bring Laurel to Jammu -Kashmir

Web Desk, 23/08/2025

Srinagar, 23 August: Mohsin Ali, Sajad Hussain and Muhammad Hussain have all brought Larels for Jammu -India Water Sports Festival (KIWSF), Jammu -India Water Sports Festival (KIWSF) for all Jammu and Kashmir Uuts around the Lake Lake.

Mohsin won gold in the kayaking of men of 1000 meters, Sajad silver in C -2 500 meter canoe slalm, and Bronze in men of Hussain Silver and C -1 canoe 1000 meters in 500 meters of men in C -2 canoe. The three medals enabged the hosts in seventh place out of 28 states and center areas, who participated in the Games.

Families of all three water sports athletes struggled to fulfill the ends, yet they encouraged their children to participate in water sports events, and one of the reasons for this is their belief in SAI. The Sai Center, established in Nehru Park inside the Lake Dal, is playing a major role in walking around the career of these water sports athletes.

Mohsin, Sajad and Hussain are all training at Nehru Park Center in SAI and are honoring their skills under the guidance of SAI’s water sports coaches. Sajad said that the Center not only provides them with training, but also all possible support.

He said, “When we trained at Nehru Park Center in the morning, our Sai coach Zulfkar Ali Bhat used to leave us in school after training because the school started immediately after training at the center. We used to put in our school uniform in our car after training at the center,” he said.

From the Mir Bahri area in the inner parts of the Lake Lake, Sajad said that being the son of a shikshawallah, it was difficult to enter into the game of endurance like Canoeing, as it requires a proper diet, in addition to hard work and proper training.

Muhammad Hussain said that he had faced many difficulties in the way of his success and was grateful to Sai, who established the SAI center in Nehru Park, which played an important role in his success.

“We are not financially well closed, and if we train on our own, it will not be possible for us to excel,” he said. “This was the training that we found at the Sai Jammu Center in Nehru Park, from which there was a difference.”

Hussein said that training and participation in sports at the center also keeps the youth away from the danger of drug addiction.

Mohsin Ali also echoed similar feelings and said that without the support of Sai, he could not win gold because his family was also living in the mouth by hand, and he would ride a Shikara to help the family’s income.

His canoeting and kayaking coach, Zulfkar Ali Bhat, at Sai’s Nehru Park Center, said that as India is bidding for the 2036 Olympics, Sai Jammu Center in Nehru Park is working on long -term schemes such as talent and resource pool for the incident.
