Washington DC, 23 August: US President Donald Trump declared Sergio Gore on Friday (local time) as a special envoy for the next US Ambassador to India, and South and Central Asian Affairs.
Announcing on Truth Social, Donald Trump said, “I am happy to announce that I am promoting Sergio Gore to become our next United States Ambassador to the Republic of India, and special messengers for South and Central Asian Affairs. White House until my confirmation.”
Addressing Gore as a “great friend”, Trump expressed his confidence in the President’s personnel keeping his contribution to the White House office.
“Sergio is a great friend who has been on my side for many years. He worked on my historic presidential campaigns, published my best -selling books, and run one of the biggest super PACs, who supported our movement. The role of Sergio as a director of the President’s personnel is required to fulfill the expected mandate. The US, the US, re -made America great.
Sergio will replace Gor Eric Garccyti, who served from 11 May, 2023 to 20 January 2025. Prior to Garceti, Kenneth Juster held the post from November 23, 2017 to January 20, 2021. Since the departure of Garceti, the US Embassy in India has been led with Interim Charge D ‘Affairs Jorgan Q.
