The US President said in a post on Truth Social, “A great and very successful day in Alaska! The meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin went very well, as a late night phone call was made with Ukraine President Zelancesi, and various European leaders, including NAM’s highly respected general secretaries. There is not only a ceasefire compromise, which does not have often.”
He also shared that Ukrainian President Zelanski would visit Washington DC on Monday and if things work, a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin will be scheduled.
“President Zelancesi is coming to the Oval Office DC on Monday afternoon. If all work, we will set a meeting time with President Putin. Possibly, millions of people will be saved. Thank you for paying attention to this matter!”
Earlier on Friday, the United States and Russia held a meeting of the much -awaited Truska in Alaska to discuss the conflict in Ukraine.
Russia’s top economic messenger, Kiril Dimitriv, said that the US received Russia “very well” in Alaska and the two countries would continue to build relationships despite “resistance”.
“The US-Russian summit in Alaska has definitely been productive,” Damitriyav said according to CNN, “There were many issues we discussed and many we agreed”.
“Some of them have to be agreed and certainly it is very important that President Trump outlines an important economic ability of cooperation between America and Russia,” Dimitriv said.
He said, “We will continue to construct US-Russia relations, despite a lot of resistance to this, but we will continue to strengthen the US-Russia relations,” he said according to CNN. (AI)
