Srinagar, August 14: Youth Services and Sports Minister, Satish Sharma and Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA), Zadibal, Tanveer Sadiq on Thursday released athletes and assistant employees, volunteers and first-Ir opened to India Sports Festival officials to logo, mascot, anthem, jingle and jersey.

Firstly, Khelo India Water Sports Festival 2025 is being hosted by Jammu and Kashmir on ancient water of Dal Lake in Srinagar from August 21 to August 23.

Himalayan Kingfisher inspired the vibrant mascot of Khelo India Water Sports Festival 2025. Swift, Fearless and at home water, it symbolizes adventure, nature and a sense of competition on the lentil lake. With its bold orange and blue, it represents energy, peace and beauty of Kashmir. More than a symbol, it is the ambassador of the festival, which promotes environmentally friendly sports, tourism and youth engagement across the country.

The Khelo India Water Sports Festival people caught the essence of Kashmir, which consists of a shikara gliding on the Lake Lake trapped by snow -capped mountains and pine trees. Its cool reflection reflect the beauty of Kashmir while Khelo India colors unite tradition, nature and the energy of sports.

Anthem and jingle celebrates the sector for Khelo India Water Sports Festival 2025. They mix Kashmiri, Urdu and Hindi verses to demonstrate the shimmering water of Dal Lake, colored stories in Kashmir and cultural attractions of the region. Speaking on the occasion, the minister, who demonstrated the activism of the host city of the event, stated that 800 athletes and hundreds of other visiting officers from 28 states and eight center areas, who will attend Khelo India Water Sports Festival, return as the brand ambassador of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the first game of India Water Sports Festival will be hosted not only to promote tourism but also to promote tourism in Jammu and Kashmir.

Earlier, Giving information about dignitaries about Khelo India Water Sports Festival, Commissioner Secretary Social Welfare and Youth Services and Sports and Sports, Sarmad Hafaz said that various stakeholders like hoteliers, hunting agents and various departments were prepared to make the event a success.

Sarmad Hafaz said that the festival would demonstrate the diverse culture of Jammu and Kashmir, including Kashmiri, Gurjar and Bakerwal, Dard Sinna and Dogri. He said that registrations for the event were being done by the Sports Authority of India (SAI), while Doordarshan would provide live coverage.

Certainly, the young woman Kelo India Water Sports Festival, 2025, will be inaugurated on 21 August at Dal Lake. The Department of Tourism, Power Development (PDD), water power, traffic, hospitality and protocols, civil aviation, airport authority, lakes and waterways management authority (LCMA), handicrafts and handloom, state diet response forces (SDRF), health, and fire and emergency services have been instructed to distribute their responsibilities with the highest locations.

Kashmir, which has already hosted all five versions of the Khelo India Winter Games, is ready with a strong arrangement to welcome around 800 athletes and officials from 28 states and eight union areas who compete in five water sports subjects in a three -day program.

Competitions will include kayaking, canoeing and rowing, as well as performance games such as dragon boats, water skiing and a unique shikara race. In addition, coordination committees for various functional areas have been formed, with a dedicated state connectivity officer (SL) to each team for easy convenience.

A wide opening ceremony is ready to show a drone light show, traditional folk dances, celebrity performance and local road cuisine, culture and self-help groups (SHG) products.

The festival is set to be a historical program to celebrate the natural beauty, adventure and cultural prosperity of Kashmir, due to being organized by the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and the Sports Authority of India (AI) in collaboration with Jammu -Kashmir Sports Council.
