Jammu and Anti -Kashmir Bureau of Corruption Bureau (ACB) said on Monday that a case has been registered against the then Patwari circle Suzwan and others for illegal mutation of land records.
In a statement issued to the news agency -Kashmir News Observer (KNO), a spokesman said that the Jammu and Anti -Kashmir Bureau of Corruption Bureau filed a formal case FIR No. 17/2025 U/S5 (1) (D) R/W Section 5 (2) of Jammu -Kashmir PC Act, SVT. 2006 and Section 120-B RPC against P/SB Jammu against Aslam Deen, then Tehsildar (Basti) Jammu (now finished), Mohammad Iqbal Zargi, then Patwari Harak Sujwan (now retired as Naib Tehsildar) along with beneficiaries as well as Mohammad Bashir Ahmed R/O Sunezwan Jammu and other seals of Mohammad Bashir Ahmed R/O Sunezwan, Revenue Records of the original owners. On the result of verification made in the allegations, to provide unfair advantage to the beneficiaries and to get themselves wrong benefits.
“Verified verification has shown that the mutation number 689/Gem was seen under section 121 of the Land Revenue Act under Section 121 of the Land Revenue Act under Mutation Number 689/Gem 918, 970, 994, 1024, 1024, 1623 and 1623 minutes.
The Financial Commissioner, Revenue J&K VIDE order dated 26.09.2017 separated the non -transport number 689/JEEM under consideration on 27.03.2010 and directed to restore the entries that were present before the verification of the said mutation. In addition, according to the Land Revenue Act, the Mutation U/S121 Land Revenue Act can only be confirmed by the settlement officer, but in the immediate case, the then Tehsildar was mutated, the disposal which was beyond their powers, reads the statements.
