Picketing at 4 major airports on Air Canada flight attendant National Day of National Day

Toronto – Air Canadian flight attendants are expected to picket airports in four major Canadian cities on Monday, calling their Sangh national day action.

Public employees at the Canadian Association say that Montreal’s Pierre Elliot Trudeau International Airport, Toronto Piercene International Airport, Vancouver International Airport and Calgary International Airport are expected to be demonstrated, all are in ETs at 1 pm.

The cup says it wants to raise awareness what it says when it says “poverty wages” and unpaid labor when it is not in the air when working on an aircraft.

The CUPE says that the air Canada component of the union was designed to return to bargaining negotiations with the airline on Friday, with the members of which voted 99.7 percent in favor of the strike mandate.

Vote, which was wrapped on last Tuesday, means that flight attendants may probably walk away from work with a notice of at least 72 hours on August 16 at 12:01 pm.

Both sides have been in contract dialogue since the beginning of the year and the strike mandate after the airline and union comes after a reconciliation process without reaching a deal.
