PM Modi Flags off Amritsar – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Vande Bharat Train

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today flagged off Amritsar-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Vande Bharat train.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha thanked Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi for dedicating the Vande Bharat train between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra station to Amritsar.

Lieutenant Governor said, “The new Vande Bharat Train will ensure ease of traveling for devotees of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi and will increase the growth speed of the local economy.”

The Lieutenant Governor noticed that the transport infrastructure of Jammu and Kashmir, especially in the Railways, has seen an unprecedented growth under the leadership of the Honorable Prime Minister.

He said that the first freight train to reach Anantnag from Punjab on August 09 has marked a significant milestone in the transport infrastructure and trade of the Kashmir Valley.

“Honorable PM is grateful to Shri Narendra Modi ji, which is seen to flag off the Vande Bharat train between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra station between Amritsar. Especially in the railway, in Jammu -Kashmir Transport Infrastructure, an unprecedented increase has been seen under the leadership of Honbel PM.

New Vande Bharat Train Mata Vaishno Devi will ensure ease of traveling for devotees and will increase the growth speed of the local economy. Yesterday, the First Freight Train reached Anantnag from Punjab, marking the Kashmir Valley’s Transport Infra and a significant milestone in the trade ”.

26406 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Amritsar Vande Bharat Express train will depart from Katra at 06:40 pm to reach Amritsar at 12:20 pm. In the direction of return, 26405 Amritsar- Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Vande Bharat Express train will depart from Amritsar at 4:25 am to reach Katra at 10 am. The train will run six -day a week except Tuesday.
