Srinagar, August 09: On the government assurance of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, the committee held a meeting in the assembly premises here today, so that progress can be reviewed on the fulfillment of assurance related to the health department.
The meeting was chaired by the chairman of the committee, Sajad Gani Lone and members including CH participated. Mohammad Akram, Javed Ahmed Mirkel, IFFTRAR Ahmed, Mian Meher Ali, Mohan Lal, Sunil Bahurdwaj and Shagun Parihar. Secretary Health and Medical Education, Director Health Service Jammu/Kashmir and other senior officials of Health and Medical Education Department were also present in the meeting.
Speaking during the meeting, the chairman impressed the officials that the assurance given by the ministers on the floor of the House during the budget session should be fulfilled immediately. He underlined the importance of the role of the committee in justifying the government and ensuring transparency in governance.
The Chairman directed the officials to conduct regular counseling with all the stakeholders so that all the assurances made in the house are constantly tracked and fulfilled.
