GTA is under a summer warning that can see the Humidex values in the 40s at the end of this week.
Environment Canada says that the multi-day heat event is scheduled to begin on Saturday, where the high levels of the day are estimated to be between 30 and 33 ° C with Humadex values between 35 and 40.
The National Weather Service says that there will be no relief from the heat with the climb between 19 and 23C at night.
“The hottest days of this summer wave are expected to be with a height between 33 and 34 degrees on Sundays and Mondays, and I won’t be surprised that some spots outside the city are hits up to 35 or 36 degrees away from the cooling effects of Lake Ontario,”

The slightly cool temperature is not expected until the middle of the next week.
Health officials take care that warm, humid temperatures offer health risks to large adults, infants and young children, pregnant women, people with physical and/or mental illnesses and people with disabilities or people with mobility issues.
