Hamilton Police announced a second arrest in the shooting of Harsimrat Randhwa, a student of 21 -year -old Mohock College, who was killed in April, while standing near the bus stop in a broad day’s light.
Officials confirmed that 26 -year -old Obisia Okafor was arrested on Thursday, 7 August in North York, and three cases of attempt to murder. He was taken back to Hamilton and remained in custody.
It follows arrest Earlier, 32 -year -old Jerdine Foster fearedWhich was accused of three cases of first-degree murder and attempt to murder.
Randhawa, described as a bright and kind student by friends and family, was shot as an innocent darshan.
The shooting took place on Thursday, 17 April around 7:30 pm and included a black Mercedes SUV and a white Hyundai Illonthra. According to investigators, the SUV passenger fired several shots on the sedan residents. In the days after the incident, the Hamilton police recovered both vehicles.
Officials revealed on Thursday that seven people were involved in the shooting. The foster is believed to be in Mercedes at that time.
Police say the investigation remains active and detectives are going on to pursue all the leads. Officials have not denied further arrests.
