Director General of Police, Jammu and Kashmir, Nalin Prabhat, IPS, visited the Crime Branch Headquarters in Srinagar today. He reviewed the unit’s work, current investigation and overall functioning.
The DGP was obtained by the IGP Crime Branch Headquarters, J&K and senior officials. He held a meeting with the officials and informed about the important matters, including cyber crime, financial fraud and other serious cases.
Nalin Prabhat-IPS asked the authorities to work with honesty and pace. He emphasized the use of technology and proper case documentation to strengthen the investigation and help the court proceedings. He praised the efforts of the crime branch and said that more training and support would be provided, especially in cyber and financial crime sectors.
Later, the DGP met with the employees, encouraged them to maintain their good work, and assured them full support from the police headquarters J&K.
The journey is part of the regular field reviews of DGP to coordinate police units in J&K and improve performance.
