The Toronto Police is on a shooting scene inside a Scarborough Apartment Building where a male victim is located.
Paramedics told Citynues that they took the victim to the hospital with non-enemy injuries. His age was not known.
Officers were called to the building in Danforth Road and Midland Avenue area at around 2:47 pm.
A male suspect ran away before the police arrived.
They are described as black, around five feet ten, with a thin construction wearing black clothes.
