4 -year -old girl dies after a tragic incident in Waterworld

A four -year -old girl has died after an incident Swimming pool In the waterworld, Staffordshire Police Said.

The force was called to the water park in Hanley, Fuel-No-Trent, for a report of a girl in a critical condition at around 4.20 pm on Monday.

He was treated at the scene and then rushed to the hospital for further treatment but died.

Police said his family members have been informed and are being specially supported by trained officers.

Waterworld will remain closed on Tuesday “out of honor for family”, the Water Park said.

A witness told Stoke-on-Tantaliv: “People are outside everywhere. There were at least 8 police cars and about 4 ambulances when I first went, all with their emergency lights.

“Then I saw the air ambulance land on the autobrite direct car park, in which paramedics were running back towards the Waterworld. I hope everyone is fine. It looks very serious from there and the ambulances present at the scene are present.”

Another witness told the outlet: “I am not sure what has happened, but it seems prominent!”

The Waterworld’s statement continued: “It is very sad that we learned about the passing of this little girl this evening.

“All our views are with his family and loved ones during these extremely difficult times.

“Waterworld is in shock and has decided to be closed yesterday with family respect.”

He said that the park is working with the authorities.

Detective Chief Inspector Lucy Muskue said: “Our views are with the family in this very sad time.

“We are now inquiring and looking to establish the circumstances of the incident.

“We will ask that the members of the public avoid speculation in these initial stages of investigation and allow the family to mourn.”
