Srinagar, 4 August (KDC): Since the cancellation of Article 370 yesterday, six years later, the President of the National Conference Farooq Abdullah on Monday compared the current central government -appointed administration to the colonial rule and questioned the restoration of the Center in the long -pending elections, including Rajya Sabha, including the Rajya Sabha.

Addressing reporters in Srinagar, the former Chief Minister criticized the Central Government for not fulfilling its commitment to restore the state of Jammu and Kashmir after the elections. “When they are going to return to the state? He said that the minutes of elections you have and government is formed, the state will be restored. What has happened to it?” Abdullah asked.

He also expressed concern over the continuous delay in holding four Rajya Sabha seats from Jammu and Kashmir. “Now they are saying that they will elections in two vacant assembly seats, but what about elections in four seats in Rajya Sabha? Why are they giving people the right to go to that house to speak about their problems?” He questioned.

Abdullah said that an excavation in the BJP -led central government plan, Abdullah said that there was very little land for the celebration. “They have nothing to celebrate. What they did in six years to improve this state? Our highly educated boys and girls are unemployed. Prices are growing in the sky. Poor poor are growing, while rich are becoming rich. Are they achieved?”

In a sharp criticism of the current administrative set-up, Abdullah said, “His Viceroy is sitting in Raj Bhavan here. There is a government (in Jammu and Kashmir), but Viceroy is the main person. The time has come when it has to be changed. It is a democratic country.” Although he did not name anyone specially, the comment was clearly made for the purpose of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.

Commenting on the situation of broader peace in Jammu and Kashmir, Abdullah said that real peace cannot be achieved through force alone. “I am not seeing peace. I think we are living in a foolish heaven to think that peace will come overnight. We have a strong neighbor, whether it is China or Pakistan. Somehow, we have to find a way. We have to find a way. War is not a way. Finally, you have to use a pen and discuss things. How does it hurt us?”

On the ongoing anti -Militian operation in Kulgam, Abdullah expressed concern about the continuous incidents of violence. He said, “I think the way we are going and are very sad about the future of this nation.” Recently, mentioning the claims of the government that the terrorist camps were abolished, he commented, “Prior to the Pahalgam attack, he said that the camps were uprooted. Even during the recent war with the neighbor, he claimed that he had knocked on them. How is the Kulgam?”

Abdullah also reiterated that Article 370 was not the root cause of extremism, saying that those who had power during their existence were unable to stop such incidents themselves.
