Amarnath Yatra 2025 to stay suspended from August 3

Srinagar, 02 August: Recently, due to heavy rainfall and the need for track maintenance with both Baltal and Pahgam ax of Shri Amarnathji Yatra Marg, travel movement on both tracks has been discontinued.

Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri said, “Recently due to heavy rains, significant repair and maintenance operations are required on both Baltal and Pahgam routes.

It has been observed that due to the continuous deployment of men and machinery on the tracks from tomorrow, we will not be able to resume the journey. Therefore, the yatra will be suspended from both routes from August 3. ,
This year, more than 4.10 lakh yatras paid orders in the holy cave of Shri Amarnathji.
