London (AP)-A 76-year-old man produced a court in a court in Central England on Saturday to face allegations of hair cruelty after several boys at a summer camp, which prosecutors say that Kandy was associated with sews.
John Ruben was detained till the hearing on August 29. He did not enter a petition during a brief hearing in the Lecester Magistrate Court.
Police say they received a report on Sunday that the children had become ill at Statharns Lodge, a converted farmhouse with a sports hall and about 120 miles (190 km) catering in the north of London.
Between 8 to 11 and one adult, eight boys were taken to the hospital as a precaution. All were later discharged.
Ruben was arrested in a pub near Lodge on Monday.
Ruben, whose house address is about 15 miles (24 km) from the lodge, “faces three allegations of assault with will, ill-behavior, neglect, neglecting, abandoning, or exposing children, which is related to three boys in the camp.
The lodge is owned by the Brathwaite Gospel Trust, a Christian Charity. The police insisted that the owners “are independent of those who use the lodge or hire and are not associated with the incident.”
