Leadeki won 800-meter freestyle in the World Swim Championship, McIntosh Bronze

Canadian summer McIntosh won a bronze medal in the 800 meter freestyle at the World Swimming Championship in a three-way duality.

Toronto teenager, the United States Olympic champion Katie Ladeki and Australia’s Lani Plishter competed with Ladeki from beginning to end, claiming their seventh world title in the distance.

McIntosh demanded a fourth straight gold medal in Singapore, which was second for the American star before taking his step at a final turn for a brief lead.

But Leadeki rose and gave a knockout punch at the last 50 meters, in which the palisters closed fast behind him.

Ladeki ended in eight minutes, less than four-tenth of one second with a pallister in 5.62 seconds. Mcintosh touched a 1.67 second wall after Ledecky.

Canada has now won seven medals at the World Aquatics Championship – six in swimming and one in diving.
