Congress leader and leader of Prevention (LOP) Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi said on Saturday that the election system in India was “already dead”, and alleged that the 2024 Lok Sabha elections were “rigged” and they had evidence to confirm the claim.
Addressing the annual legal conclave called ‘Constitutional Challenges – Perspectives and Pathway’, Gandhi said that he doubted more than 80 Lok Sabha seats in the 2024 general elections.
“The truth is that the electoral system in India is already dead. The Prime Minister of India has held the position with a very thin majority. If 15 seats were rigged, we suspect that this number is more than 70 to 80, he was not the Prime Minister of India. We are going to prove you in the coming few days.
Highlighting the six -month investigation by the Congress, he further alleged that the Election Commission (ECI) is not present and disappeared. According to the document received from the EC, Gandhi said that the Congress has discovered that out of 6.5 lakh voters voting in the Lok Sabha elections were “fake”.
“It makes it clear that the organization that defends the constitution has been slant and taken. We have evidence that will show the whole country that the Election Commission’s institution is not present. It has disappeared. We have got a 6-month non-stop work to find this evidence.
LOP re -added his doubts about the election system, saying that he had doubted “something wrong” since 2014. Questioning the widespread victory of the BJP in the assembly elections in Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh, Gandhi said that he joined the Maharajas for the epidemic after the election elections, elections, finally voting for the BJP.
“I have recently been speaking about the election system. I always suspected that something was wrong, I was already doubtful in Gujarat assembly elections.
