York Regional Police has accused additional historical sexual harassment against a Sports Coach in Markham following a public appeal, which inspired more victims to come forward.
Garth Morris, 58, Was initially charged in June With several offenses, invitations to sexually tacked under 16, sexual intervention, sexual assault and sexual abuse. These allegations stems from the incidents mentioned by a victim who accused of misuse starting in 2017, when he was under 16 years of age, continued until 2021.
At the time of alleged crimes, youth were actively coaching in the Moris Markam region to basketball, tennis and volleyball.
After the police appeal, additional victims have come forward with historical allegations. One of the new reported incidents is in 1994, when Morris was coaching in Toronto.
Investigators have re -released the picture of Morris and are renewing their calls for anyone with further knowledge or experiences – yet to contact the police when or where they were.
