Brampton home targeted in home shooting, wanted suspect

Investigators are asking for help to the public in a shooting and vehicle involved in a shooting in Brampton last month.

The incident came out on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, Long Meado Road and Prince Edward Bulleward residential area shortly before midnight. According to the police, the officials responded to a shooting reports and revealed that a suspect had tried to break into a house.

Investigators say that during a break-in attempt at some point, the suspect allegedly discharged a gun towards the residence before fleeing a vehicle. There was no injury.

Police are searching for 2022 Honda Passport TrailSport with Ontario license plate Ckhb388. The driver was last seen running north on Long Meado Road and is not located.

Officials are urging the public not to contact the vehicle residents or call 911 immediately if the car is spotted.

The police is appealing to anyone with information about the incident, including local residents, drivers who can be in the area, and business owners with surveillance footage to come forward.
