The Government of Higher Education, Jammu and Kashmir announced to start a spot round for four-year graduate programs (FYUGP) (FYUGP) and integrated post-graduate programs (IPGPS) for the academic session 2025-2026 in all degree colleges in Jammu and Kashmir today.
The purpose of this initiative is to fill the remaining seats after the completion of the first three entry rounds.
The online interface for registration and selection of programs and colleges will be activated on August 01, 2025 on the supporting portal https://jkadmissions.samarth.ac.in. Eligible candidates wishing to participate in the spot round will have to complete their registration and apply for the college/program of their choice by August 03, 2025.
Candidates who were unable to register in the previous round due to late result announcements or other issues are also eligible to apply during this period.
Candidates who were allocated colleges in the last round, but they could not meet their admission formalities due to payment of fees or other issues, now they can do this by visiting between their allotted colleges.
