Emergency services were called Austthorpe Court at around 11:06 pm on Wednesday after a report of concern for the safety of a small child. Police said the body of the girl was discovered inside the property.
A woman found at the address has been arrested on suspicion of murder, West Yorkshire Police Said in a statement on Thursday. She was rushed to the hospital where she lives in a stable condition.

“A woman was rushed to the hospital for immediate medical attention at the address and today remains there in a stable position. She has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
“We are considering it as a separate event and are not looking for anyone else in relation to it. I think such a tragic incident will cause shockwaves in the local community and there will be speculation about what has happened.
