Why, 31, KDC: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan today convened a meeting of the officials concerned to review the system of operation of the tricolor rally in the district before the Independence Day 2025 celebration.
It was given that the Tiranga rally would be held on August 12 and a flag would be seen from the War Memorial Kupwara which passes through various roads in Kupwara city and will conclude at Galizu Stadium.
On this occasion, DC impressed the concerned authorities to work with the tricolor rally to ensure the smooth and festive conduct of the festive rally.
DC reviewed the arrangements that include transport, water, mobile medical units, participation of employees and participation of field officials, availability of national flags, refreshments among others.
He instructed the officials concerned to ensure active participation of their officers, region officials and other stakeholders, who are at the tricolor rally to ensure the smooth and live conduct of the rally.
To ensure easy arrangements in the place, it was given that a control room would be set up in the DC office for timely coordination with the line departments.
