In an important step towards modernizing its examination process, the Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar has presented optical mark recognition (OMR) based examinations to ensure transparency and quick results in the evaluation process.
To start with this new initiative, GMC Srinagar today conducted a written examination for senior residence posts in various subjects today.
OMR-based examinations reduce scope for errors or prejudices, ensuring a transparent assessment process.
In addition to the use of OMR results in rapid evaluation and results declaration and timely engagement of selected candidates reduces the waiting time for candidates which maintains the academic calendar without delay.
By adopting OMR-based examinations, GMC underlines its commitment to maintain high standards of Srinagar educational integrity and efficiency.
