Toronto Blue Jais has extended its initial rotation before Thursday’s trade deadline, acquired Shane Bieber from Cleveland Guardian, Team announced,
Blue Jais will send pitching probability Stephen to Cleveland as part of the deal.
The two-time all-star, Bieber, has not picked in the major this season as he is cured by Tommy John Surgery, but has introduced four rehabilitation in minors, with a 1.59 ERA with 21 strikes and a walk.
When healthy, Bieber is a front-end pitcher, with a career era of 3.22 and K/9 of 10.2. He won the American League Cyg Young Award with Cleveland during the 2020 season, with a record of 8–1, 122 strikeouts and a league-Best 1.63 ERA.
In 2019, Shane “Don’t Call Me Justin” Bieber recorded a career-high 214 1/3 innings, 259 strikeouts and only 1.7 BB/9. He finished fourth in Al Sye Young Voting in that season. He won the Al Gold Glove Award in 2022.
The 30 -year -old has a $ 16 million player option for 2026.
When he is ready to return to large companies, Bieber will join a blue -like rotation that includes Jose Berrios, Kevin Gausamman, Chris Basit, Max Shejar and Eric Lawyer.
Right -handed Khal Stephen was selected from Mississippi State University by Blue Jais in the second round of 2024 drafts.
The 22-year-old season was one of Toronto’s best modest-league pitchers, with a 2.06 ERA and 91 strikes of 91 strikes in 91 2/3 innings between Single-e-Dunedin, High-A Vancouver and Double-e-New Hampshire. Stephen was ranked by MLB as the fifth best possibility of Toronto.
Toronto is the latest addition after Bieber Club Earned Reliever Serringoni Dominguase On Tuesday from Baltimore Oriols to pitching the Juron Vats-Brown.
Blue Jais entered the domestic game of Friday against Canus City Royals, with a four-market lead over New York Yankis for the first time in AL East.
