The Chief Secretary reviewed the preparation of J&K Wars for the nationwide Yuva Connect program

Srinagar, July 31, KDC: Chief Secretary, Atal Dullu, today, under the guidance of the Prime Minister of India, assessed preparations for the Vicky India Youth Connect Program (VBYCP), which was launched nationwide on August 12, 2025, counting with International Youth Day.

The program has been handled by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, which aims to actively engage and empower Vikasat as a young contribution in India’s development journey towards India by 2047.

The Chief Secretary questioned all the 10 Vice Chancellor of the Universities, who are about their preparations for both the pre-phenomenon activities and main programs to be held at the national level on August 12.

He called them to create a calendar of activities for all pre-event activities to be applied without any failure. He encouraged them to motivate all students for registration on my Bharat portal and to make activities attractive and informative according to the broad counters of this program.

ACS, Higher Education Department, Shantmanu, while highlighting the progress of the program, said that the inauguration program has been scheduled for August 12, which will be held simultaneously in 1,339 universities across the nation including central, state, understood and private universities.

He revealed that on this day the Prime Minister will address the youth in all these institutions. But before my Bharat Portal was to be introduced in all these institutions. After the PM’s address, Vikit Bharat (Youth Parliament) was to be performed in these universities after the performance of the Vikasat Bharat Shapath (pledge) and the winners in addition to the performance of the Youth Equality (Youth Parliament).

The program has also envisaged the operation of activities to promote the spirit of the Nasha Mutt Bharat Abhiyan (Drug-Free India campaign). These activities included training and awareness generations with children, adolescents, youth and master volunteers, sports and physical activities, seminars, webinars or workshops, besides Nukkad Natak, skits and plays, flash mobs, drives, painting competitions and rallies were included as a preface.

Vikit Bharat Youth Connect Program is a major initiative launched by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, the Government of India, which aims to connect the youth from the national point of view of developed India until 2047. It wants to empower the next generation through active engagement and participation in India’s development journey. (KDC)
