Killed by TTC bus in Scarboro, seriously injured

The Toronto Police is investigating a serious collision, which left a 54 -year -old man with deadly injuries after hitting a TTC bus in Scarborough on Wednesday night.

The incident occurred around 9:35 pm near the intersection of Eglinton Avenue and McCovan Road. According to the police, the person was waiting near a TTC bus stop on the north sidewalk of Aglinton Avenue when he collided with the bus.

The victim was rushed to the hospital, where he lives in critical condition.

Traffic service officers are leading the investigation and appealing to the public for assistance.

Investigators are asking anyone, who can be a witness to the confrontation or which has dashakam or security footage from the area to come forward.
