Toccom launched investigation in 34 porn websites more than new age checks

Ofcom An investigation has been launched in compliance with four companies-which collectively run 34 pornography sites-with new age-checked requirements under UK Online The Security Act, the regulator said.

The regulator will investigate whether the websites run by 8579 LLC, AVS Group Limited, Kick Online Entertainment SA and Trendo Limited have enough to protect children from seeing improper content.

The regulator said that websites run by companies are visited by nine million people in Britain every month.

They are involved in the investigation of other companies including 4chan, which have also been accused of allowing users to reach illegal materials.

The new online Safety Act allows Commom to impose a fine of £ 18 million or 10 percent of revenue worldwide, whichever is large. It can also obtain a court order for “professional disintegration measures”, including forcing the Internet companies to ban internet companies to prevent payment providers or advertisers from providing services, or allowing Internet companies to access a given website.

First, Tomcom will check companies to check if their websites have expected checks. If failures are found, it will issue them with notice that they can appeal before the final decision is made.
