ACB registers assets assets case against terminated COP, discovered many places

Srinagar, July 30, KDC: Jammu and Anti -Kashmir Bureau of Corruption Bureau of Corruption (ACB) has initiated a formal inquiry into allegations of collecting money for known sources of income by a terminated police officer, selection grade constable Firdus Ahmed.

In a statement, an official said that a secret verification was made by the ACB that Firdus Ahmed, a selection grade constable named Public Servant, has acquired adequate assets, both the forests and immovable sources, both for the known sources of income, along with their names in the name of their family members.

He said that verified verification has shown that the accused has deposited important property, including two -storey residential houses, which are built by them on ancestral land in Hagam, Srigufwara, Anantnag; Palletal House is located in the 01 Kanal 10 Marlus Estate Machbavan Mattan; Hotel Grand Lords (one -third part) located in Movora, Tehsil Salar, Pahalgam; And Tawi Vihar, Sidra Double Stay home in Jammu.

He also said that the Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) ended a case again 03/2025 U/S 13 (1) (1) (B) R/W 13 (2) in 1988 at the Police Station ACB Anantnag in 1988 in 1988.

During the investigation, special judges were obtained from the Honorable Honorable Anti -Corruption Court Anantnag for conducting the discoveries at the above mentioned places. It was revealed during the operation of the search that the accused is also being allotted a police quarter at the Police Housing Colony Bemina, so the authority of SSP ACB Anantnag was also discovered at the said place and the search was done at all places simultaneously, which ended till the report was reduced.
