Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will address the Lok Sabha around noon on Monday.

A fierce debate on the Pahgam attack and Operation Sindoor is expected to appear in Parliament between the ruling coalition and top leaders of the opposition.

On April 22, twenty-six citizens were killed in a terrorist attack in Pahgam in Jammu and Kashmir, after which India retaliated through accurate attacks under Operation Sindoor, targeted terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-Kabje Kashmir (POK).

Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that the debate on Operation Sindoor will be held in Lok Sabha on July 28 and 16 hours in Rajya Sabha on July 29.
“All issues cannot be discussed simultaneously … Opposition has raised many issues like special intensive amendment (sir) exercises in Bihar and others. We have told them that Operation Sindoor will be discussed first. We will decide which issues will be discussed after that.
In addition, leaders of the floor of India Block parties will meet to discuss the strategy for the second week of the monsoon session at 10 am on Monday, slate with the Lok Sabha on Monday to discuss Operation Sindoor and Rajya Sabha on Tuesday. (AI)
