Seemless Logistics Management Operation was a decisive factor in the success of Sindoor: Rajnath Singh

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said, “From our agencies, from the gathering of spontaneous logistics management-western forces to the right time and place-the operation was a decisive factor of the success of the operation vermilion,”

He said that in today’s era, wars are not only won with guns and bullets, but also with their delivery, and Operation Sindor was a vivid example of excellent logistics management.

Singh insisted that logistics should be seen through the prism of strategic importance and not only as a process of giving goods.

“Whether it is a soldier fighting on the border or the personnel engaged in disaster management, without proper management of coordination or resources, even the strongest intentions become weak. Logistics is the power that turns chaos in control. Shakti is not only measured with weapons, but also by resource management.

Rajnath Singh highlighted the importance of logistics in the economic progress of the country, it is said as one of the main pillars that connects every step-from pre-production to consumption.

He described India’s contribution to India’s GDP as directly and indirectly important, while also underlined the important role played during Kovid, when millions of vaccines, oxygen cylinders and medical teams reached one place in one place.

Singh said that India has seen unprecedented infrastructure development in the last 11 years, and the foundation of this change, which is being done with a holistic and integrated approach, has been laid through policy reforms and mission -MM projects.

He said that its effect is not limited to physical connectivity, but it has reduced economic productivity, logistics costs and improved service distribution.

“Under the PM Gatishti National Master Plan, seven powerful pillars of development such as railways, roads, ports, waterways, airports, large-scale transport and logistics infrastructure are giving a strong foundation to India’s economy. PM Gatishkati is not only a plan, but is making a vision-which is making cutting-future crysticks.

On the National Logistics Policy, the Defense Minister said that the initiative aims to create an integrated, skilled and cost-effective logistics network that not only reduces logistics costs, but also encourages data-operated decision making. He said, “The objective of the policy is currently bringing 13–14% logistics cost to the level of developed countries. This will increase the competition of Indian products in domestic and global markets. Decrease in logistics cost will increase efficiency in all areas and boost the increase in price and enterprise,” he said.

On the important role played by GSV, Rajnath Singh said ‘Gati’, with which the youth are providing ‘Shakti’ to the country. “GSV, one of the most prestigious study centers in the country in terms of logistics, is not only one educational institution, it is an idea, a mission. It is a mission to take India in a sharp, organized and coordinated manner, giving a solid look to the national aspiration to carry forward in a fast, organized and coordinated manner,” he said.

He described digitization, automation, real-time tracking, AI-competent logistics forecast, and durable goods system as national requirements for India today. He appreciated the efforts of GSV and students to build headways in these subjects.

Rajnath Singh inspired the students to become problems and limited their knowledge only to demand jobs. He said, “One of the things we need for India to become a Vacual India till 2047 is a smart logistics system. No country can develop until goods, services and people walk fast and easily in the country,” he said.

GSV, established as a central university under the Ministry of Railways in 2022, is dedicated to creating world class talent in logistics and transport sectors. Central Railway, Information and Broadcasting, and Electronics and IT Shri Ashwini Vaishnav are the first Chancellor. He was Vadodara MP Dr. Hemang Joshi and Vice Chancellor Professor (DR) were present during the event along with Manoj Chaudhary.
