Provincial police say one person is dead after a single vehicle accident on Highway 401 in Mississaga.
In a post on X at 12:30 pm on Friday, Ontario Provincial Police said an accident occurred on WestBound Express lane on Mississaga Road.
Paramedics rushed the driver to the hospital, where he later died.
This area was closed for traffic on Hurontario Street, but opened again before 3 pm
No details have been released due to the accident.
