NDP issues official rules for the leadership race to change Singh

The NDP has issued official rules for its leadership race, including requirements that candidates collect specific numbers from supporters in diverse regional, racial and LGBTQ+ groups.

Young New Democrats, 25 years or less, should have at least 10 percent signature of the signature of a candidate from New Democrats.

Candidates will also have to collect at least 50 signatures from each of the five different areas in Canada – Atlantic, Cubek, Ontario, Priories and BC and Answer.

To change Jagmeet Singh, a new permanent leader will be selected through a rank ballot, allowing party members to rank candidates in order of preference.

The party announced earlier this month that candidates would have to pay an entry fee of $ 100,000.

The official campaign is closed in September and the final vote will take place in March, when the party holds its conference in Vinnipag.
