Deputy Crown Crown Prosecutor Catherine Bakas, Deputy Chief Crown to CPS London South, said: “After carefully reviewing a file of evidence, the Crown Prosecution Service has authorized the Metropolitan Police with a count of sexual harassment against a woman in two cases of Mitchell Ward, 27, two cases of rape and a woman in January 2023.
“He will appear in the Teme Magistrate Court on Thursday 28 August 2025. We are all concerned that the proceedings against the suspect are active and they have the right to test.
“It is important that there should be no reporting, comment or sharing to share online information, comment or information that can bias these proceedings anyway.”
