Men died after accident in Mississaga in the morning

A man died after a single vehicle collision on Wednesday morning in Mississaga.

Emergency employees were invited to the spot at the intersection of Cawthra Road and Dundas Street East

Police say that the man, who was the only occupation of the vehicle, was rushed to a local hospital in the event of life-threatening, but was later succumbed to his injuries.

All on Cawthra Road are closed in the north and south -east lane area as investigators work to determine the cause of the accident. Passengers are being asked to use alternative routes.

Not more details have been released, including the identity of the victim.

Anyone with information or dashash footage from the area around the collision urges to contact the Peel Regional Police.
