The 18 -year -old Grant Striland is speaking about the years of sexual abuse, who says he was suffering from a teacher.
Striclland was a 14 -year -old actor when he met the Kindergarten teacher.
In 2021, he auditioned for a community theater production of “legally blonde: The Musical”.
Stricland was put as a prominent person.
Teachers, Nicole Calham, were directors.
Detectives say Calham began “grooming” the ninth grader and had “an inappropriate and illegal relationship” with them.

local WDBJ More information:
33 -year -old Nicole Ballev Calham is facing allegations from several agencies.
Deputies said that working as a teacher, Callaham began to prepare the boy in his early teens, although he did not go to the school where he worked.
Investigators said the malpractice began in 2021 when the boy was 14 years old and continued for at least two years, the investigators said.
Sheriff’s office said in a release, “The relationship intensified as he allegedly excluded the student, took him to practices, and served as a supervisor for post -school activities.” “These frequent conversations led to a long pattern of misconduct, which was confirmed with the search warrant and ongoing cooperation with the victim’s family.”
Calham surrendered himself at the Anderson County Detention Center on Thursday morning.
The alleged victim in the case, Grant Striland spoke in the court at the hearing of the Bond of Callham. Gray media does not identify victims of sexual abuse until they choose to come forward.
Striland said he wants to speak to help others.
Striclland said, “I really want to know the public that it was a painful incident. I am to fight here and I am not going back.” “I think there is a need to bring more awareness for such things. And just because I do not mean that it should be removed. Because I was a child.”
Striland decided to come forward as an 18 -year -old, when time processed the trauma, he said he experienced.
“I would prefer to bring more awareness to show that this happens, and it happens a lot, and it is not just for women, it is also for men, and it is also for young children, and it stops, and it stops,” Striland said.
He said, “I would never want someone that I passed through it, because I really don’t think that most people would be showing it to survive. I almost didn’t.”
For this child, huge kudos, be strong grants!
