Baramulla, July 20, KDC: In view of the prevailing circumstances and to maintain law and order, Additional District Magistrate Baramulla, Syed Altaf Hussain has imposed restrictions under Section 163 of the Indian Citizen security Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
These restrictions will be applicable on 20 July 2025 at 8:30 pm to 21 July 2025 on 21 July 2025 in some areas of Tehsil Sinhapora, Sub Division Pattan.
This order has been issued as a preventive measure to ensure peace, to protect public life and property, and to avoid any unpleasant events. Assessment of the current grassroots status, recent developments and a report of potential disturbances requires this step to maintain law and order in the region.
During the said period, no assembly or assembled of four or more persons will be assembled in the designated areas. The purpose of this ban is to ensure that the atmosphere remains calm and favorable for communal harmony.
Meanwhile, the general public has been appealed to expand full cooperation and strictly follow the restrictions. These measures have been implemented purely in the interest of public safety and overall welfare. (KDC)
