Emergency employees were called at a residential building in Little India neighborhood of Toronto on Sunday morning for reports of fire.
Officials said in a social media post, “The crew saved many living people in the building.” “Unfortunately a resident bowed to his injuries and died.”
According to the Toronto Police Service, a person was declared dead on the spot in the 70s. In the 70s, a woman was rushed to a hospital in critical condition and a woman was also treated for minor injuries in the 40s.
The city’s fire martial is investigating.
