🌿 The voice of Kashmir echoed in Punjab!
Wahid Jilani mesmerized the audience in Sawan Utsav 2025
Patiala, 202 July, 2025-Planned singer, musician, and cultural ambassador Wahid Jilani represented Jammu and Kashmir in proud Grand Sawan Utsav 2025, which was held on 18th to 20 July in Patiala, Punjab. The event was organized by the North Zone Cultural Center (NZCC) under the aegis of the Government of India, Ministry of Culture.
Performing with mythological artists across the country, Wahid Jilani gave an hour -long set, which weaving the poetic talent of Kashmiri Mystic Socion Crora, Wahab Khar, Bashir Dada, and Fazil Kashmiri together, with their signature melodic finals. Urdu Ghazal and Gates’s rendering of Gates by literary great people like Momin Khan Momin, Daag Dehalvi and Anjum Rahhar left the audience deeply.
In his heartfelt message, Jilani expressed great gratitude to the NZCC and the Ministry for providing a platform to show Kashmir’s spiritual, folk and poetic essence. Their performance supported by the dress of skilled musicians from Kashmir and Jammu was appreciated and widely appreciated.
Wahid Jilani remains a torch of the music heritage of Kashmir, which promotes peace, harmony and cultural pride on the borders.
