The Hamilton police have made 10 allegations against three people involved in a car accident last month.
According to investigators, a 17 -year -old, running a Mazda with a suspended G1 license in the Stony Creek Mountain region on 22 June, 2025. The driver was accompanied by a 31 -year -old passenger who had a vehicle.
Police say the pair was traveling west on the Ryimal Road East and tried to turn the left hand on Fletcher Road when they were killed by a Ford F -150 truck which was also being operated by a young driver.
The Hamilton police wrote in a news release released on Saturday, “F -150, a 16 -year -old man from Hamilton, was allegedly traveling at a high speed through the intersection.”
“As a result of violent effects, Mazda had two lives – neither wearing a seatbelt – out of the vehicle,” police said. “Both have suffered serious, life-changing injuries, and a person stays in a hospital in a stable position.”
Officials say the driver of the Ford F -150 was allegedly going to 135 km/h in an area of 60 km/h. He also suffered injuries and was rushed to the hospital.
The Hamilton Police collision the reconstruction unit began an investigation and on July 17, the authorities made allegations against all the three persons involved in the accident.
The 16-year-old driver of Ford F-150 was arrested and charged with two cases of dangerous operation, causing physical damage, stunt driving, sharp and careless driving cases in two cases of driving.
Meanwhile, Mazda’s 17 -year -old driver faces three allegations, in which a seatbelt under suspension, failed to driving and driving unaccounted by a qualified driver, which is a G1 license violation.
The 31 -year -old owner of Mazda also faced three allegations to allow a novice driver to allow a novice driver to violate the terms of the license, gave a wrong statement and allowed to operate a vehicle without insurance.
Police say their investigation is on.
