Srinagar, 19 July: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader and MLA Pulwama, Wahid Ur Rehman Para, on Saturday, criticized the NC government for Urdu, one of the official language of Jammu and Kashmir, one of the official language of Jammu and Kashmir.
In a post on X, Wahid Para wrote, “Nekan government in which Jammu -Kashmir CM Umar Abdullah ordered a revenue portfolio, so far or ordered another round of land record digitization in Jammu and Kashmir. This time, this process is being done especially in English, has been completely removed for Urdu, a language that is acting for our revenue records.”
The post reads, “Urdu is being deliberately erased by the NC government with new digitization efforts.”
