Continuing its efforts to eradicate the danger of drugs from the society, the police arrested the drug pedal in Kulgam and recovered huge amounts of opposite substances recovered from its possession.
A police spokesperson said that while working rapidly on a special information about the hoarding of drug, a special team of the IC PP Frisle -led police party along with the Executive Magistrate Frisle, along with the Executive Magistrate Frisle, was raided on a suspicious place (residential house) of Vaikel Ahmed Dar. During the search, substances were recovered like 5.145 kg piece cannabis and 1.735 kg of popi.
Accordingly, a case video number 45/2025 of FIR No. 45/2025 has been registered and investigated under the relevant sections of the law at Police Station Yaripora.
The police remains stable in their commitment to save the community to save the drugs from drug crisis and urge the public to expand their cooperation by reporting any suspicious activities related to drug smuggling or misuse.
